Our Mission

From an idea to a
real business.

MarketFoundry was founded to help people create economic opportunity for themselves by launching small businesses — especially people who have the motivation but not the resources to get started on their own.

R
"I started the MarketFoundry Workforce Scholarship Fund because I kept meeting people with real hustle and a clear idea of what they wanted to build — but no roadmap, no website, no way to accept a payment. The gap wasn't motivation. It was access. That's what this program closes."
Ronald Skolnik  •  Founder, MarketFoundry  •  (619) 818-3731

The problem isn't motivation.
It's access.

The Problem
The technical pieces stop people cold
Most people who want to start a service business don't fail because they lack drive. They stall out trying to figure out how to build a website, set up payments, or get their first customer — without experience, guidance, or money to hire help.
Our Solution
A guided launch process from day one
We walk participants through every step. They describe the business they want to start. We help build the foundation — live website, customer tools, payment systems, marketing guidance. They make the decisions. We make sure nothing gets left undone.
The Barrier We Remove
Cost is never the reason someone doesn't start
Scholarships are funded by local donors and matched by MarketFoundry. Participants receive the full program at no cost — including $200 in startup capital upon completion to invest directly into their business.
The Outcome
A real, operating business that generates income
Not a certificate. Not a simulation. A live website with a real URL, working payment systems, and the knowledge to find and serve customers. Graduates leave with everything they need to start generating income.

Built for people who wouldn't
normally get this kind of help.

Our program is designed for adults who are motivated, capable, and ready to work — but facing real barriers to getting started.

Underserved communities
Limited resources • No network
Anyone with the drive to work for themselves who lacks the technical knowledge, professional connections, or startup capital to get off the ground.

One donor. One person.
One real business launched.

01
Someone applies
An individual in your community applies for a scholarship. We review their application, assess their goals, and confirm their commitment to completing the program.
02
A donor funds the scholarship
Local businesses, Rotary clubs, community foundations, or individual donors sponsor a participant. A $995 donation fully funds one scholarship. MarketFoundry LLC matches 50% on day one. Smaller donations are pooled.
03
The participant launches their business
They complete the guided program — building their website, setting up their business tools, learning to market their services, and finishing with a certificate and $200 in startup capital.
04
Your community gains a new business owner
The participant is now operating a real business, generating income, and building toward financial independence. That's the return on a scholarship.
